1. Who we are
Novapix is operated from Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are the data controller for personal data collected on this platform. Contact: privacy@novapix.film
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the platform: email address, username, display name, watch history (for your personal use), ratings you submit, and payment data (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details). We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and GDPR-compliant by design. No cookie consent banner is required for analytics.
3. Legal basis
We process your data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract) for account and platform functionality, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) for platform security and abuse prevention.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your data. Use the account settings to export all your data as JSON or permanently delete your account. For other requests, email privacy@novapix.film. We respond within 30 days.
5. Data transfers
Your data is stored in the EU (Supabase EU region). Where third-party processors outside the EU are used (Stripe, Resend), Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Watch history and ratings are anonymised (not deleted) on account deletion to preserve rating integrity.
